Building a strong successful program to create student success
Special Education Consulting Services (SPEDCO) was established to assist school districts and charter schools in addressing concerns with the implementation of effective instructional programs, compliance with state and federal requirements, identification of students with disabilities, and retention of Special Education staff. SPEDCO’s focus is centered on providing schools an additional supportive option to a solitary Special Educator/Director utilizing an economy of scale while matching the capacity of a larger school district. Beginning in 2010, SPEDCO has grown and expanded to meet the needs of new and existing schools throughout the United States.
What We Do
SPEDCO provides comprehensive technical assistance and instructional support to schools to create legally compliant, high quality programs for students with disabilities. SPEDCO consultants build and maintain a safe and trusting relationship with the LEA by providing honest feedback and innovative ideas to improve student outcomes while correcting areas of identified noncompliance with local, state, and federal laws and rules.
Our goal is to identify and match the level of support needed through activities to provide the school staff with:
